What are eyelash extensions?A classic lash extension service is a signature lash application where the attachment of 1 extension is applied to 1 natural eyelash. The result is an enhanced lash line with a natural and realistic appearance. Classic lashes are recommended to those who want their lashes to look beautiful yet natural. ​ Popular extension services include classic, hybrid & volume (also referred to as russian volume). Hybrid & volume services create a fuller lash line with a special fanning technique. Multiple single lash extensions (3-10) are placed into a fan ,then onto a single natural lash, which achieves the appearance of a much fuller & fluffier lash line. There are three types of lash extension materials: synthetic, silk and mink. A full consultation is done before the application process starts and the appropriate style & length is discussed.

Is the process uncomfortableNo!!! A properly trained lash artist is able to create an experience that is comfortable and one that you should hardly even feel. Some clients find it relaxing and can even get a quick nap in during their appointment!

How long do they last?Anywhere between 2-5 weeks depending on your growth cycle & how you care for them. - The average person has between 90-120 natural lashes per eye (upper lid) and we aim to lash these all in a full-set. - Each eye sheds approx. 2-5 lashes every day. So look at the following: In 1 week you will lose 21 lashes 2 weeks 42 lashes 3 weeks 63 lashes

Is there anything I should avoid?All oil based face products such as facial cleansers, moisturizers, make-up & even oily hair products should be avoided. They will negatively affect the adhesive and therefore cause the bond of the synthetic to natural lash to prematurely weaken. Also no picking or pulling on your lashes. No need for a fill appt. Sooner than usual!

Is an allergic reaction common?While it's not common it can happen. Some may be sensitive to the glues' fumes, which is why its is so important to keep your eye's closed until you're technician tells you to open them!

Can I just do them once?Yes, of course! They're especially fun for an event or special occasion. But, I promise you'll want them on all the time!
